day 45
Well the boy is off with his Grandparents and the house is clean and quiet! Madeline sleeps most of the time and come to think of it so do the dogs! The highlight of Andrew's summers is his Granddad taking him fishing, the only problem is that he is a little spoiled when it comes to fishing, not liking to touch the bait or unhook his own fish (we won't even get into cleaning his own catch here!!). It may even be too hot for them to get out this trip, but if they do, this is what happens every time!

Diamond mining in Murfreesboro, ARK is a lot like going to a casino, you put up your money or time and expect a big payout. At least at the casino, you get a cocktail! At the mine, maybe heat stroke!

Sorry for the absence! I've been working on some storyboard/character design for a friends screenplay and all the stuff is copyrighted. I can't share any work here at this time! Please check back as I promise to get back to daily cartooning as soon as possible!!!

day 43
Well, I fell off the wagon hard this weekend, no cartoons for 3 days! Family first, lotsa cleaning and entertaining done over the last few days, part of living this life! I will try and catch up, but I think getting in a toon every day may not be practical, but will still be attempted. Such is life!
This is a large toon about the park on the local river where I take my son fishing! It's an old dam that once had a grinding mill on it. This river, in addition to having a major Civil War battle fought on it, also has the most old mill dams. A very beautiful place usually filled with some of the most butt-ugly people on the planet! I just had to give the lit'redneck Coopertone girl a Pitt-bull instead of a nice little puppy! Really, just had ta'!
