I can't believe that I ever tried to post one drawing or cartoon a day on this blog!  Hell, I'm lucky to maybe get one a month on here.  It is too easy to blame the kids or any one specific thing,,,except, OK, I will say it,  the laundry.  Here, that's a load of my chest,,,get it, a load,,,,sorry.  I spend more time, washing, folding, hanging and looking for hidden clothes than any other thing in my day!  And to make matters worse, Madeline and Leslie's clothes now all look the same to me so I'm never sure who's shirt or undies makes into the right drawers.  At least the dogs still hang out with me.  Here's another rabbit poster, maybe they will one day be my "Blue Dog",  naw, I didn't think so either.

I'm still playing with photoshop and using the wacom pad to go totally paperless.  There are some advantanges but it does seem to take forever to get an image down.  There is an art to drawing on one surface and looking up on a computer monitor to see the image form.  I will  more than likely turn this into a gigposter for the Bunnies.  Hope all are well!

well, it's be a long hot summer and to top it off, instead of drawing, which yours truely is suppose to be doing daily, I got wrangled into being the kids soccer team manager and treasurer!!!!  what a time destroyer this has turned out to be!  Here is another Bunnies poster, thanks miss Donna and have a great time in Chicago!  May have a line out to storyboard a real film, more as that develops!

I am having a very unproductive Winter this year!  It's been too cold, the kids too grumpy and the house too dirty to get any real work done.  To those of you awaiting any work, all I can say is that I'm getting more motivated  and the increasing temps only help!  This is the latest work for the Divine Miss D, who will use this as her main poster this year.  Spring is almost here, and with it, I just might get something done.

 I know I haven't been on here in a while and I'll just go ahead and plead the 5th!  Too much going on around the house, and a few recent trips outta' town; you look up and it's almost Christmas time.  I have a line on illustrating a children's book  and this is the first concept art for it.  Still not sure about this gig as of yet and hope  this matches what the author is thinking.  I missed the filming of a short film I storyboarded today in Nashville to get this done so, I hope it's for real.  Outdoor soccer is almost over for the year and I'm glad, been freezing my butt off over the last few weeks.  Hope all have a great Thanksgiving!

more vampire stuff

What started out as a present for an old friend rapidly turned in a exercise in how to draw captions and boxes in that cruel mistress that is photoshop!  I was working as lazily as possible, scanning very messy blue pencil sketches and then putting in the all the lines, colors and caption boxes.  Does it work? Yes, will I do it all the time? Maybe, I am a lazy bitch after all!  No new summer news, the kids go back to school on the first and it's too damn hot to do anything.  Such is life!

 My best friend is having a birthday in a few weeks and I did this for him.  The statue in the toon is a real one in the old Monroe Cemetery.  The guy's wife put up the statue after his death with him holding their marriage license carved in stone to shut up the family who said they were never married and she shouldn't inherit.  Only in Louisiana!

Well the boy is off with his Grandparents and the house is clean and quiet! Madeline sleeps most of the time and come to think of it so do the dogs! The highlight of Andrew's summers is his Granddad taking him fishing, the only problem is that he is a little spoiled when it comes to fishing, not liking to touch the bait or unhook his own fish (we won't even get into cleaning his own catch here!!). It may even be too hot for them to get out this trip, but if they do, this is what happens every time!
